Meet the Founders
Lt. Col. Abdulaziz (Binimad) Al-Ateeqi
Founder
Lt. Col. Abdulaziz (Binimad) Al-Ateeqi of Kuwait is the author of Makkah at the Time of Prophet Muḥammad (PBUH): An Illustrated Reference with Maps of Key Homes, Mountains, and Other Landmarks (2020), and the forthcoming four-volume work, Prophet Muḥammad (PBUH): A Comprehensive and Contextual Biography.
He graduated from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, Great Britain, in 2001, subsequently taking numerous leadership courses in both the UK and the US.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Media and Communications from the American University of Kuwait, and has spent well over a decade researching early Islamic history and various sciences from an Islamic perspective.
His public lectures include his 2019 TEDxKuwaitCity talk titled “Resurrecting Pre-Caliphate Makkah (c. 600 CE).”
BILAL MAJEED KHAN
Co Founder & CTO
Bilal Majeed Khan is an entrepreneur with a history of managing small and large teams and working on hands-on design, product development, and 3D visualization.
He holds a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Design from the University of Manchester and consults in engineering design and product development across the globe, working with the likes of BMW, Audi, Putzmeister, Built Robotics, and other globally recognized brands.
In 2016, Bilal was awarded the prestigious Education UK Alumni Award for entrepreneurship contributing to innovative new business opportunities with strong growth prospects in Pakistan.
Shortly afterward, he founded the Renderlounge Studio in 2017-18, providing world-class services in visualization and design with the use of cutting-edge immersive technology.
He has also won numerous innovation and design competitions at the international level, and his work has been featured in prominent design exhibitions such as Dutch Design Week.
